I paid a visit to the "Road Racing Center of The East" to watch some GT and SCCA Trans Am racing despite brutal rains and cool temps.
JMHO, a standard traditional V8 sounds MUCH better than the LS1 or C5R engines. Something about those little 310 Trans Am Motors with 12 or 18* heads put goose bumps down my spine when they wind up so easily!
It was some really good racing done by some VERY ballsy racers. The rain was coming down in buckets, and there we're plenty of offs due to grip loss or over-driving. I had a nice time despite the weather. I guess horsepower always makes you smile even on a rainy day!
