:jester I'm going to through some ideas out there, let me know if there is any interest or not:

Group event to the Medieval times in Lynhust, NJ - A medieval time restuarant, with live jousting. Was thinking maybe a Saturday in April? http://www.medievaltimes.com/

Hawk Mountain - http://www.hawkmountain.org/default.shtml located about 2 hours west of Philadelphia, a nice ride out, and some easy day hiking. located near Hawk mt. is Jem Classic Car Museum

Yuengling Brewery - http://www.yuengling.com/tour.htm 'nough said.

Grand Canyon - :skep: anyone interested in a Fall one?

Hi Mike! :seeya

After such a long brutal winter, I definitely want to go on a few road trips in the spring. I'd love to go to the Midieval Times cruise with my wife. Neither of us have ever been there although we passed one on our way to KY last year and really wanted to check it out but we ran outta time.

The hawk mountain cruise/hiking trip sounds like fun as well and I would love to join in. Its kinda hard for me to hang out with you guys since I live in NY but I'll definitely make it for these two trips! April sounds great! Keep us posted on when the final date will be.

Let's put some of this on the schedule. May I suggest:
April for Yuengling and Eric has volunteered to head this one up :hurray:
May for Medeival times
June for Jem car museum/Hawk mountian

Grand Canyon? Been there done that :jester I have an over night trip in mind instead that will be as much road fun and equal scenery. I was thinking about making it a mystery cruise for September. Maybe we can look ahead for spring 2005 for another Grand Canyon. Thoughts on that?

Other suggestions:
Dirt track race night in Bridgeport NJ Lots of grass roots racing fun
Poker Run
CF Picnic - Mike and Heather's place?
Harley Davidson plant tour in York, PA
Dinner cruise (I have a few out of the way resturants in mind)

I'll comitt to setting up the "Mystery Cruise", Poker Run and a Dinner cruise :)
Eric has comitted to Yuengling
And I'm sure MikeG826 will comitt to at least one if not five :D

How about YOU? Take one of these ideas or one of your own and comitt to taking the lead on just one event. I will help you in everyway I can

IF WE all came up with an idea or two and comitted to plan it, we could have an event scheduled everyother week  We should do this as our "Vette" time is limited in the NE :mad

LETS GET THIS
ROLLING :D

Yo know I'm down for just about anything, be sure to check the Raceway Park Schedule.

I'm hoping to have big plans for the next crab trip, I'll let a little out now, it may be an overnighter.

I was going to try the Breakfast Club for this Saturday, but don't think I'm going to pull it off.

2/7, I'm planning on the Philly Auto show.

Then two weeks in FLA, the drag race in SC, then we start at E-Town.

Don't forget Skyline Drive at the end of April

Definitely have to coordinate with the race schedule, that way we can get some cruisers to the races and and some racers to the cruises :yesnod:

This was tried this several times last year, no one comitted to showing up each time.

I think the effort and energy is better spent on events that the "other half" can enjoy as well :yesnod:

True dat, but it never hurts to try.

So 2/7 Philly auto show and then the Hard Rock for lunch or dinner?

Arnolds will be good unless we can coordinate the nudie cruise with F1.

Yuengling Tour sounds great! Heck they all sound great. Always up for the Grand Canyon trip or as John mentioned, an alternate location.

I will again try and put together the baseball/Kerbeck event. We will need folks to sign up and pre-pay for that one. I will look inot the baseball schedule, will need to be a Saturday afternoon/evening event.
