Guys is there anywhere in the syracuse area that you would recommend taking the vette to. I lowered it some over the winter and i want to get an alignment done, but i don't want to let any of the local yahoos get their hands on it. They don't even know there are friggin air pressure sensors in the tires

Cantech Automotive on Taft Rd. 452-1168. They do Corvettes Porsches Ferraris etc ;)
I haven't had any experience with Cantech but have heard the few that have say they were good. I went to a friends in Rochester and gave him the alignment specs I wanted. They were the ZO6 specs which are different than stock settings, the rationale was I lowered and went to ZO6 size tires and wheels.
They said it was a bear to align it, maybe because I cut the bushing up front vs. lowering on the stock adjustments, Z51???
I know it can be scary to take your car to a dealer but for things like alignment, they tend to have the most up to date equipment around. Price wise, geesch... I've heard 4 wheel alignments from $60-120.
Sorry couldn't be of more help... One thing of note, I always bring a set of 2X10's about 3ft long to lay in front of the ramps. That gives just enough clearance for the nose to get up on the lift. This rules out having to worry about that...
feel free to IM me and I can give you a call if you need any specific align info except for a local rec.

:iagree: Others have said they can handle this Work. Avoid Corvette Barn, unless you have money to burn (also from word of mouth and not personal experience).

Big John- Yes that was me :yesnod: Gary told me afterwards that he thought you had a Corvette along with a 440 six pack car
Hey Mike, I thought you looked familar. When we left, I was racking my brain to remember where I knew you from. I saw your car in your signature and it hit me. Its a small world.
