Ok, so there wasn't a large turnout, but those who did show up had lots of fun! Lots of twists, turns, high speed blasts (up to 124 mph!) and beer.
Participants were Zix, SmokieTheZ and me. At the meeting spot, there was another C5. These guys were up from CT, going to the race in Loudon tomorrow. We asked them to join us, but they declined.
On the way out there, we came up to another C5 and we waved as we passed him. He followed us for a few miles but turned off when we got to Keene.
At one point, I pulled out to pass a couple of cars and around the corner came some on-coming. The third car was a Statie. Since I was doing at least 80, as was Zix who also was in the act of passing, I thought for sure we were toast. All we got was a dirty look. He didn't have radar on, and he didn't bother turning around to follow us. He must of had a date with a donut.
Anyway, here are some pics.
The destination, Madison Brewing Company:
SmokieTheZ didn't want to park with Zix and I.
After some good beer and good food, we went over to Hemmings Motor News.
After we parked, one of the staff came out to photograph the 'Vettes.
Too bad the ///M3 guys didn't show. They missed out on the ultimate ///M3:
On the way back, we tried to do some four-wheeling by the lake:
The rest of the pics can be seen here. Enjoy.

Yeah, well, we didn't want to slow you down with our 63-bhp cars But what do you expect out of a 1275cc tractor motor?

Looks like quite a bit of fun - next time we tag along, eh Corwyn? We can hang, um, in the waaaay back
BTW I'm glad that decimated C5 I saw Friday on the way up to Turner Motorsport did not belong to any of the good people of this forum.

Don't forget to read the tagline next to the sig box that says HTML is turned off.

Looks like you guys had a great day for a drive . I always have to make a stop at Hemmings when going thru Bennington. Vermont is a very pretty state. I hope I can drive my car in New England for a cruise someday, need O/D tranny first though .
