Unfortunately, I think most of us Jersey and NY guys will be at Englishtown. We have our Corvette Challenge and the Vette Doctors Pro 8, gonna be some beasts there running in the 8's.

Yeah, I know. If it weren't for wanting to support our local drag strip, I'd be there too.

I cannot yet decide between e-town or numidia. New owner could definately use the business. He opened late(june) and it hasn't stopped raining since!

Yeah, except for a few highlights, this summer really sucked.

When we set this up with Phil, I forgot about it being a Challenge race day. But were going to Numedia. A group of us are leaving from the K-Mart in W-B at 8:00am. Weather looks great so far.

That's great! I'll see you fellas there!

I'm at moderator on LS2.Com and I've been chatting up this event since I heard about it so hopefully there'll be a nice turnout.

Just got back from Numidia. Good time and great weather. 25 or 30 vettes made for a good showing. Saw a few personal best runs. One guy ran the 1/4 26 times! Hope we do it again in the spring.

Hey, Pete! It was nice to meet you and I appreciate the help.

As you know, traction for me was virtually non-existent and I had to run with my traction control on to keep the car out of the wall, but I still managed to improve my best ET by a 2/10th reduction and gained 3+ mph over by best trap speed both a testament to how much stronger the car is now with the bigger cam and 3.73 gears.

My days of running without drag tires is over though. Today was way too nerve-racking for me!

Hell, I didn't even know you guys had this posted here. I'm glad I heard about it by word of mouth and was able to show up. You're right XTrooper, the track was pretty slick to say the least. A lot of fun though. I was pretty happy with my 12.2 since it was the first time I've raced this car.

RichS, man you have that Grand Sport running great! Did you improve on your 11.6? Damn that car launches HARD! I tried keeping up with you but knew ahead of time I was in for a butt kickin. Great job!

Was that the guy in the blue Z06? Man I felt bad for that car. He definitely improved by the time I left though.

Just home after going out after unloading the car. I got a new best today with a 11.52@121.55 w/1.65-60'. I thought the track was prepped extreemly well for my worn out drag radials.

I think Alen ended up running like 30+ times in his ZO6. He just kept hotlapping to get all the practice he could. I think he got a best around 12.6. He uses the car mainly for high speed events and autx and is stock except for the Borla. I had about 14 runs. Not bad for $20

Everyone had a great time. John won the elems and this was only his second time racing.

Congratulations on your new best times, Rich! Also, to John for taking top honors in the eliminations!

Seeing the times you fellas were getting with your drag radials, I'm already pricing a set of the new Mickey Thompson DRs.

Go check the Drag Racing section for our day yesterday, videos will follow shortly. I had trouble converting mine, somewhere along the way I lost sound.
But Edgar and Brian were out there shooting vids as well, expect to see some great action.
