Drag Races Busted
Article in Sunday "Daily News" Summonses issued to 27 drivers for a variety of violations. This took place in a deserted Suffolk County Industrial Park in Hauppauge at about 2a.m. either Friday or Saturday. I wonder if closing Westhamptom Drag Strip has anything to do with this incident? Does anyone know anyone who was involved?

Well if the local 'good citizens" managed to close the local drag strip because of "noise" complaints, they deserve to have street racers around.
The NHRA was formed in the 50s with local law enforcement in an effort to get racing off the streets and now some a-holes are trying to undo that.
BTW, did the news mention if they were racing on the streets or in a large parking lot in that industrial complex??
