I am supposed to take my 2000 coupe down into CT this saturday to put on new ZO6 motorsports and a set of dynatech long tubes, but this weather is going to jeopardize my winter corvette fun.

DAMN THIS SNOW!

As long as the roads are plowed you shouldn't have a problem.

Oh, yeah.
Almost got to the point of the salt being washed off the roads and then we start all over again. Gotta love it.

Got lucky in Northern NJ.
It rained a few inches last few days, too warm for snow.

Then could you explain the 1/2 inch of ice on my driveway?

Yeah, I just got the car cleaned up too. Wasn't it just spring a couple of days ago?

Nothing over here, only a few flakes sticking to the grass..
But, even 1/2 inch is still allot better than what it could've been

I'm about 25 miles south of you in Cliffside Park, next to Fort Lee.

Even if it hits 40 and the sun is shining, the 10 tons of salt and sand will still be there

Well Sat I returned from the blizzard area of NE OH, so if today's snowfall here in SE NY is the worst we get I'll be quite happy with that.

I just brushed off both cars and shoveled away the residue; looking forward to doing some diagnostic testing on the Vette tomorrow or Sun.

Salt and sand never hurt nothing, at least not on none of my cars. Had my '95 out in 5 winters so far, I've never cleaned underneath and everything is still intact.

My truck which saw 13 winters and was never washed ever is still intact.

Good luck if you make the trip. Weather does not look good for Saturday. However, our cars don't melt in the rain or snow and they do clean up real nice. Have a safe trip.

Thanks, but I think I am going to have to wait these mods out a little longer. As far as I know my corvette will catch a cold if I bring her out in this weather!
