There are a few forum members who are Police Officers in Newark.

A whole bunch of us down in the shore area, quite a bit up north as well.

Rutts Hutt is a hot dog place on River Rd., Clifton, NJ
Whiskey Cafe is at 1050 Wall St. W., Lyndhurst, NJ
I know where both are but I did not know they had car meets. I will have to go check them out this year.

Does any one know if it is just Antiques or are all year Vettes welcome?

I've been to both a few times since they are only a few minutes from my house.

Rutts Hut - mostly old hot rods and muscle cars, but no one seemed to care that my Vette was newer. Also there were other newer cars there ('03 Cobra, C5, etc.). You have to get there early (by 7 PM) or you may not get a parking space.

Whiskey Cafe - Here you have more of a range. Still dominated by the older cars, but a lot of newer cars. Also a much bigger turn out, probably well over a 100 cars on a nice Saturday night. Also there's plenty of parking here.

We should all plan something when the weather gets nice at Whiskey's since it's a Saturday night.

Whisky Cafe- take Turnpike to 16W, go to Rt 3 west, mile or so is the exit. For Rutts hut, go 3 west to 21 North, not far off from there.

Right, we should plan something there on a St. night, or even a Jersey run. (Weasel, could we sway Nabbs, and FJB to Jersey for that one!!???!!)
