A woman and a Vette. Gee if someone has a problem with that they need to turn in their man card I am actually one of the few that encourages my wife to take the Vette. She looks amazing in it (well in anything) and it makes her feel good. Last time she came back laughing because 2 guys in a Mustang were flirting with her and she dropped the hammer down. No she did not street race, but let them know who mommy was.

Default I'll be coming down from Rio Vista.

I'll be coming south on I-5 to the Tracy Glass on the Grass event. Does anyone have directions to the event, or an address so I can use Yahoo ?

Where exactly are you coming from and I can tell you how to get there. From the Bay area you want to get off at the Tracy/11th St. exit. Go through town and when you get to Central/Holly (Central is to the right and Holly the left, road changes names as it crosses 11th ) you want to make a LEFT. Go down a block and you will see the library/park on the right. If you are coming from Sac or Modesto area, you are going to get off of the Tracy exit from I5. Follow the exit and it takes you right to 11th street. Once you get to the Cetral/Holly exit make a RIGHT. I live right around the corner and plan on getting there around 8AM. If you need help call my cell.

If you want an address for mapping purpose you can use this, which is the Library which is located at the park.

20 East Eaton Avenue
Tracy, CA 95376

I'll be seeing you all out there on Saturday!

Hello... I have had Car show events 2006 for some time... I was going to come to the Tracy event and just called this number which is no longer in service (209-839-2307) Yikes!!! Anyway, I googled Tracy Corvette show, which brought me to this thread...KOOL. Needless to say, it looks like the event is still on If so, Joanne and I will be bringing our LT-1 up... Question: is there a web site on the event? Thanks in advance... Muddy

OH, by the way...if anyone in the Monterey Bay area, or on our path is going... Lets ride together!

What's the registration fees? Is there a paid parking area as well? What are the timings from what time to what time?

Thanks...

Show was great. I indeed learned alot. Now I know why guys were cleaning their tires with toothbrushes. Not sure if I am going to compete in to many shows but Golden State Corvettes is a local chapter and the guys were great. I got an app at home I can get you a number and you can call them up. Or I will let you know when they have their next meeting and we can go check it out. I am in for sure, these guys were wonderful.

hey Teddy, That was a pretty good show. Lots of Vettes from all years. Yours looking good, as usual. I left before the awards were given out. How'd you do? Thanks again for the beer, it sure hit the spot. See ya later. Bryan

Thanks Bryan- I actually did well. I placed 11th out of 11 in my class. Leason learned for me. I was hit with things like dust in the dash creases, a piece of lint on the carpet, a mudge on the window, and best of all they found a water spot on my rim. The spot was inside a lugnut hole What topped off my day was when they handed out the "special" trophies that pertained to all 81 cars. I won BEST WHEELS AND TIRES even with that spot??? Go figure. Next time I need to be like the others and pull out my tooth brush
