Default Need a Body Shop - Ugh!

Walking out of Burger King today I watched as a Mazda backed into my shiny ride. Just a mess of scratches on the front facia so where do I go in the San Jose area for paint and shine? It's not real bad but as you all know any scratch is hard to look at. Please respond!

Sorry this happened to you. I was happy with the work that Superior in San Carlos did on my C6. Superior says they are certified by GM to work on Corvettes, but I am not sure exactly what is involved in that process. Good luck. They say it is only a car; but when something happens to your Vette, it is very upsetting.

Bodylines on Winfield in San Jose. 227-4030. Best shop I have seen, and I see paint repairs on an almost daily basis.

I just dont understand idiots that cant back a car up. We have about a dozen of those accidents a month in our work parking lot. I watch out of a 2nd floor window as these complete morons try to park their cars or back out of a place. Whats even more screwed is watching them try and back into a parking place and hit the car next to them.

I just picked my Specter Werkes C5 GTR up from Automitive Enterprise, in San Carlos. They did a Great job! And Bob was invaluable in getting my insurance to cover it and get the repairs done right. They've specialized in Vettes for about 30 years now, I think. Bob, his son Rob, and their crew know their stuff!

Call Bob (owner) and tell him Dave sent you. He'll make sure it gets repaired right!

hey Jim, Sorry to here about your vette. No Insurance?!? What's the matter with these IDIOTS? They wont pay attention or pay for insurance. I just dont get it. As if just getting hit isn't bad enough, they have to through that in there too.
I was going to santana row- alice's but got an emergency call last night and got home a few hours ago, so..........I'm running late. I'll probably go straight to Alice's. Are you still going? If so, hope to see you there.

Premier Body Shop is said to do excellent work. They work on 1997 and up Corvettes only. The owner, Scott Evans, gave an impressive presentation a few months ago at a meeting of our Santa Clara Corvettes. Their link is:

Brian does excellent work! He did extensive work on my Vette, un-(uh I need to polite)doing a previous shop's very poor effort for repair and then doing it right. Also did an incredible job replacing the SMC-based (just like a Vette body) hood on my Camaro SS - far better than the original factory work.
