There has to be $15,000-$20,000 worth of air brush painting on that. Flames are fantastic, but I agree too much.

He's a forum member. I've seen the car here several times. It truly is a piece of art, even the glass is etched with fire. But its not for everyone thats for sure.

If you really liked fire though......

Here is another thread - given that this C6 has probably $25K+ invested in the paint job and all the extras, the price is not out of line at $72K.

That engine compartment is off the hook. I'm not usually one for cars like this...but I've never seen an engine compartment look that sweet.

Odd that there doesn't seem to be too much about engine mods....everything went into the paint.

That car is way too conservative. Maybe with some moon hubcaps it would be ok. Seriously, that represents a tremendous amount of careful detailed work. Although I am not a fan of flames a friend of mine still paints them mainly for hotrods. He just finished a Monterey Red C6 with ghost flames and it looks pretty good. The entire car was repainted with a little more metallic added.

Rule of thumb is you will NEVER get your money out of the mods you put in your car... in many cases it will "decrease" the value of the car.

IMO that car is not worth a penny more than 45k.

I dont think that paint job increased the value - it does look nice if your into that type of thing.

I think it looks awesome. This car would definately get alot of looks!

Nothing wrong with mixin it up a little!

I think it would look better with black rims though.
