I have heard from a few people this route has little traffic and at least one super long straightaway
My fingers are crossed that my car will be together by then, the motor came in yesterday the heads later this week
On another note rumor has it Andy (A&A) may not have BBQ this year, He told one of my friends he is undecided at this point.
Good to see your car is back together Phil

Got a present for ya Mike.. My replacement was received without the requested clearancing I'll need so I'll have to wait for another unit. Hopefully for you (and me) this run will be a just tad down the road so we can get our stuff together. When do you think you'll be able to crank her up?

We also have to get Sheridan in on this one

There's definitely room for a nice 200 on that straight

You know what...it's not like I'm driving a F'in Prius ok!!

And just for the record, by that time my car will do the "speed limit" a lot more, um, efficiently?

I was hoping that you would not read that cause I know you will hit me later for it.
Just wait untill you drive my car and then you will be thinking the same thing sweetie!

BTW, If I wanted a fuel efficient car, then I would have bought a Cobalt instead of the Z06 and Z71 truck.

I wasn't talking about fuel efficiency...seeing as we can only do the "speed limit", I couldn't very well have said, f it, nevermind. MY CAR WILL BE MUCH FASTER SOON.

And yes, I will smack you for that one!

Hey Arnel, Rick is changing out the entire drivetrain so I'm quite sure it won't happen overnight
With any luck 3-4 weeks, but who knows what roadblocks might pop up
with all these mods being done at the same time. Later bro, Mike

We will meet and leave from Santana Row...Skyline.....HWY 1 (Route to be determined on a later date) and to the final destination of Alexanders or BJ's depending on the response..
Will keep you all posted...Ideas are always appreciated...
Anyways......Drive safe....Phil
