Bought out of state used C-6, experiences?
Just bought a used c-6 from out of state. Now I need to get it shipped back here and then registered with DMV. Anybody done this and have wise information to share?

Bought my C5 in Arizona and drove it back home. Be sure
to take it to DMV within the time limit to register. I didn't have title
and waited until I received it. Cost me extra$$$$

When registering an out of state vehicle are you required to take it to a SMOG REF or is a regular smog all thats needed?

When I bought my 04 Z brand new out of state, I had to smog it for "Sunny" California's DMV.
It wasn't right!!!!What are you going to do, gota get tags

Have your smog slip, bill of sale, and proof of insurance ready when you go to DMV. No smog ref, just any ol' smog station will do.
I didn't have my smog slip and they gave me a two month grace period to get it smogged.

Update: I am not buying out of state as of now. The seller flaked last night at midnight! Said the car was not for sale. I think I'll fish closer to home. For now
