These are weighted (solid) shift *****, weigh in just under half a kilo.
Unbelievable difference, significantly easier shifts. Easily manipulated **** height is a nice touch.
For those of you that are on the fence about MGW shifters due to " the rattle ", I had the rattle until I took the manufacturer's advice and gasket sealed the shifter to **** mount connection point. perfecto.

I'm not sure I understand what it is that you sealed. Could you explain in a bit more detail please.

Hmm, ok let me try again.
The MGW shifter shaft is separated into two parts, the shaft w/ pivot ball, and a **** shaft. The **** shaft attaches to the top of the pivot ball shaft with a clamping mechanism. The **** shaft actually does have a rubber pad at the base of the clamping mechanism, and when you tighten it up it is rock solid, and wouldn't be expected to rattle. But it can...
So, the recommended solution is to apply that black RTV sealant (instant gaskett stuff) around the end of the pivot ball shaft where it slots into the **** shaft, then press them together, turn back and forth, and tighten (like gluing a dowel). Obviously being RTV the seal can be broken if need be, and it is cheap as dirt also. Not even messy at all.
