The Hypertech Power Programmer conquers the latest in engine management technology. Since 1994, the Corvette's computer no longer has a replaceable chip, so Hypertech developed a portable programmer allowing you to reprogram your Corvette's computer yourself. Simply plug the programmer into the computer ALDL connector and you're ready to reprogram. With a push of a button, the factory program is downloaded into the programmer where it is stored, and may be used again if needed. Then Hypertech's performance program is uploaded. The program features both optimized ignition and fuel curves for maximum horsepower at all rpm points resulting in improved driveability and performance. The Power Programmer also raises the automatic transmission's shift points and the engine's rev limiter. It will even recalibrate the speedometer for a 2:73 and 3:15 gear ratio's on automatic equipped Corvettes.
