Default Random- WTB Projector :)

Looking for a projector I can connect to my laptop via the VGA port and watch movies. I have one that I use when we have parties or when we go camping for the kids but it has recently failed.

How much you looking to spend Teddy? I've got a very nice NEC that works perfectly that I would be willing to part with now that I've set up my Plasma and 5.1 Dolby setup in the spare room. I'll have to check the hours on it, but I'm reasonably sure they are pretty low since I hardly ever use it anymore except for parties when I put RockBand on the big screen for the group.

Not sure what it's worth today but I paid a fortune for it just a few years ago. I'll give you the best deal I can without giving it away.

I am not sure Tom. Send me over the model, lets see the value and go from there. I am not looking to spend $500 though so if it is really fancy might be more then I need. I use a laptop with a VGA port to provide the image so it is not so high tech. This thing will be stored in my trailer most of the time so I dont want to make a huge investment in it. Were going camping tomorrow with a big group so I want to see if I can find something local asap if you know what I mean.

I have one with a huge retractable screen. I will get the info for you tonight. Both only have about 8hrs max. They were used for my presentations for the 09 Caravan at different clubs.

Steve that would be great. I found a ton of great deals on Craigslist but man this is not something I want to chance.

Yeah, mine is cinema quality, not just a standard presentation projector. Think I paid something like $1900 for it just a few years ago so under $500 would be tough to swallow.

No worries buddy I figured as much. Actually if you go online it is really sad to see their deappreciation. I am looking at a cheap $200-$300 projector. Remember we are using it for camping and it projecting off a white sheet taped to the back of my toy hauler. HAHA Nothing to fancy for me. Mike on the other hand has some big plans so you might have what he is looking for. Thanks though for the thought. Have a great weekend buddy
