Default catch cans, they do work

just got back from thunder on the 25th, great day out there, and recently purchased a catch can from willfulone, at http://www.customcorvetteaccessories...lcatchcan.html, the build of it is really nice and i captured about 1 teaspoon of oil in it, just thought i'd share my experiences.

I also took my upper intake off to see how much oil blowby was in my intake, there was a lot, i cleaned that up and upon putting it back in for future reference make sure you dont pinch the knock sensor wire when you put the intake on, i did and it threw a code. Thanks to Rick at synergy he did a instant diagnostic over the phone. THANKS RICK!

Keep an eye on that CCA catch-can. I had one and it started leaking at the petcock.....I ended replacing it with the one from elite engineering - much easier to drain.

I also installed one back in January and just drained it today and had about 2 or 3 tablespoons of oil come out. Very happy with the looks and how well it works. They are hard to drain unless you take the entire unit out.

not sure which brand you have, but mine you just un screw the bowl from the head that was connected to the front of the block. After the SC was installed had to relocate it to under the front of the car, had to lay on the ground to get to it...but it worked just fine...
