My dad was contacted by Howard this morning letting him know that I need to pick up my TigerShark front bumper. I was going to have Howard paint and mount it on my '01 soon, looks like that's not going to happen.

From what my dad relayed to me, apparently business hasn't been good enough for Howard to keep the body shop open any more. I'll be picking up the bumper tomorrow so I'll see what Howard has to say.

This is definitely a bummer for me, his shop's right around the corner from work, and I was looking forward to working with him both on my '01 'vette and my '66 Morgan +4 project vehicle.

Just stopped by and picked up my TigerShark bumper. Howard wasn't in, but from talking to someone else there who was helping clear out, it sounds like a mix of slow business / rent increases / slow-to-pay customers made Howard decide to retire. Considering how long he's been at it I can't give him grief about it.
