...He is extending the pins on the cradle and machining spacers for the cradle to get the Fast 102mm in there as well as reutilizing my egr pump as some sort of vacumn for oil blow by??? Not sure what that means but he said it would be very affective. Hell who knows should be a blast once it is home.

No sir. Most just use a few washers to make up the differance, but my mechanic didnt like that idea and said it was tacky so he is machining the parts. Doesnt make a differance to me just get the fast is my thought. HAHA I dont think it will be much more then a 1/2"

My builder had a couple ideas that I like. He is extending the pins on the cradle and machining spacers for the cradle to get the Fast 102mm in there as well as reutilizing my egr pump as some sort of vacumn for oil blow by??? Not sure what that means but he said it would be very affective. Hell who knows should be a blast once it is home.

Went thru that intersecton today. It is the correct picture. The corvette is in the southbound lane. The photo is pointed to the south west, which is vacant field/farmland. Just past that sign in the background is a house. I would suppose the time on scene would be a few hours. If happened 3-4 in the am would explain night and day picture.

Lowering the cradle will lower your roll center, among other suspension geometry changes=going backwards in terms of handling. I believe edelbrock does the same thing with their supercharger setups, but those customers could probably care less about handling.

I started this thread in the general section.
This was just down the street from my place.

Another testament to the C6 crashworthiness. Especially for a convertible. Yes, the windshild failed, but we don't know the energy it took to do so. I've seen a C6 on it's w'shild before...with another car on top of it and the "A piller" held BOTH cars. Substantial energy with this one proved by the Pontiac becoming 2 pieces, though. 130MPH? maybe, maybe not. The black box will tell (if the cops want it.)
This looks like a 23152B or C if one of the other party dies...
