Just my opinion, but here goes:
The stadium in Vegas, as least as planned and pictured now, will never be built. Mark Davis is a flake and will not be able to come up with the financial backing. Think about it. First Sheldon Adelson was going to back it. Then Goldman Sachs. Then Bank of America. Who next?
Davis wants too much and is overplaying his hand. He wants to pay no rent. He wants all the money for naming rights, etc. If Oakland won't extend the lease here, then where do they go if the Vegas stadium is delayed or never happens? They have talked about San Antonio in the interim where a stadium is already in place, but the Cowboy's ownership will object to that.
Again, just my opinion, but I say a deal can still be made to keep them here in a new stadium as other options vanish.

Meet the newest Raider.
By: Tanya Ray Fox | 2 hours ago
After months of speculation and reports that Marshawn Lynch would consider coming out of retirement to play for his hometown Raiders, the NFL Network’s Michael Silver is reporting that a deal has been made.
An agreed upon contract between Lynch and the Raiders means the next step requires that the Seattle Seahawks, who still own the rights to their former running back, agree to a trade.
Seahawks General Manager John Schneider and Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie are known to have a congenial relationship, having worked together in the front office of the Green Bay Packers – which has been cited as a key factor in the ease with which Lynch could make the transition to Oakland.
Marshawn Lynch launched a 'Silver & Black Collection' for his apparel brand
No details on the contract have been released, but this will be mutually beneficial for both teams.Per the Seattle Times, trading Lynch was a preferable alternative to releasing him for multiple reasons.
Not only will they receive compensation in return, but had they released him, the Seahawks would’ve been expected to request that Lynch pay back $2.5 million of the signing bonus he receive for the contract he signed in the 2015 offseason – per the stipulation that Lynch remain retired if he wanted to keep the entire bonus.

He borrowed $850 million from Bank Of America, plus interest he owes $325 million relocation fee, $200 million on G4 loan, and has to pay it off in 30 years good luck, he will go broke, plus in owes Oakland $800,000 in parking fees he didn't pay, he going to be in so much debt, plus Oakland should sue Davis for money that what owed for bringing them back in 95, like 90 million, Oakland should also sue to try and keep the domain name in Oakland, like what Cleveland Browns did, screw Mark stick it to him, Oakland fight back, don't let them walk again with no fight. Plus that Stadium drawing for Vegas, is the one from the Carson project, they just threw a dome on it, so there no real drawings for what the Vegas one will look like. Hope Vegas fails, and they get Mark Davis out as owner and get a owner who has money and build in Oakland. Go RAIDERS!!!

Go Raiders
Well they have a lease at Oakland Stadium for this year and next, but after that there nothing, they probably go to Levi's and play there, if Mark smart, San Antonio a bad idea. Vegas won't be ready till 2020 at earliest, but Mark still has a lot to do before they start building. Well there Oakland Raiders at least this year. GO RAIDERS !!!!

If Kaepernick would accept being the back-up QB, should the Raiders try to get him? Discuss.
And forget the politics. This is strictly a football question.
