Anyone purchase from Tire Rack? Where did you have tires installed and what did the installer charge for. I saw Folsom Larry had installation done in El dorado Hills Firestone... I'm in Roseville

I did a few years ago and had them installed at Kniesel's Auto Repair Shop at
980 Riverside Ave, in Roseville. Since then, I have learned that America's Tire will price match Tire Rack, so I purchased them there. The sales tax pretty much matched the shipping costs and I get free rotation.

Which America's Tire did you go too? I need to call to see if they still do match. Free rotation doesn't do much for me, my vette has 18 front and 19 rear

I have also had America's Tire match Tire Rack. I've heard that many tire stores wills match Tire Rack if you mention them.

I go to les schwab on sunrise in rancho and they do a good job. Americas tire on folsom and sunrise next to 50 has good ppl working there too. I picked up a screw in my rear tire and they plugged it within 20 minutes for free.

Don't forget when you offer a tire dealer to "match TR $'s", make sure you calculate & add in the shipping for each tire. Most places will not price-match an un-shipped tire price from any TR-like wholesaler.

Oh, by the way, there is another on-line (web) tire dealer I have had some success (good pricing) with. They are called "Tire Buyer". Pricing is very similar to TR and in some cases, even better. They do the same thing as TR (offer preferred installation places they work with).

Bought my tires from Tirerack.com

They have a list of vendors in your zip code that will install for a set price.

Mine were installed by Firestone on Sunrise & Greenback.

I have purchased 2 sets of Firestone Firehawk run flats for my 05 C6. I purchased on line and Tire Rack shipped them to a local tire shop which was convenient to where I live. I showed up at the tire shop and the tires were installed and ready to go in about an hour. Couldn't be any easier.

Hi Ken,

I have never had any tires put on at a Firestone dealer. Last time I bought tires America's Tire in Folsom matched the price of the Tire Rack and mounted them.
