The Georgetown Hotel in Georgetown (duh) which is up in the foothills / gold country, is having a little car show on June 24th.

Towns not that big so there won't be a ton of cars, but it's a nice drive up and I'm expecting it to be an informal little show. Thought I'd post this out there in case anyone is interested. Since it's in my back yard I'll probably be hanging out...

Looks like that is about an hour and a half from me. Might be a nice drive. If I have nothing going on that day, maybe I will drive up. The hard part would be getting up early Saturday morning.

I'll try to make it. The drive to Georgetown is great on any day, but a small town car show is just icing on the cake.

Well, turns out that in my own home town I can't spend the day at this show!

We're headed up to Reno tomorrow. I'll be over at this show in the morning for an hour or two if I can.

If you do go, please be sure to stop by the Fire Station right there on Main Street. Fire stations in the area are doing open houses tomorrow as part of the 10th anniversary of the Angora Fire. I'm a volunteer at that station (can't make that event either!).
