Congratulations and great going from a local driver that has recently taken possession of Bill Brinkop's blue Z. I may have to drive it from Pleasant Hill when it needs your shop's special attention. Thanks for being close by in the valley. Dirk

Great Job Rich, Congratulations, it sounds like an awesome weekend.
I'd love to come out and watch you race some time, I'll keep my eyes and ears open.
This is just another reason why one should bring there Corvette to Able Chevrolet for your servicing needs.
Can't wait to bring mine back.....Rich A

Hey Rich,
You are such a fine driver and we are all so proud of you. Thanks for helping so many people with our "remedial 101 attempts" to follow in your vortex. I did enjoy the day I spent with all of you at T.H. in May. This was my first time on the full course with my '06 Z and I'll hope to do that again next year. I'm now driving Bill Brinkop's previous blue Z, so thanks for helping him set that car up for our tracks. Can I ask you a question regarding Sears Point? What has been your personal best time around that course with a long apex on corner 7? I know when people break 2:00, they are pretty quick. Just wondering what your best has been there? If you are more comfortable answering my with a PM, please do. Thanks

I have not been to Sonoma in 4+ years and not with anything close to the current set up in the car. Last I remember running there was on the regular course (carousel) and I think it was a 1:45. I'd imagine with the way the car is setup now that would be at least 3-4 seconds faster than it was several years ago.

The weekend went well. I ended up 3rd and had a decent points score. It was really hot so I parked the car half the day on Sunday. It wasn't worth the additional couple points that were to be gained from beating the crap out of the car. It was nice being able to hang out, help Carrie and not have to put a race suit on in the 100+ degree heat.
