New Club
I am interested in starting up a new ACTIVE Corvette club in the Sacramento area. Right now I am in a current club but it is time for a change. Are there any others in this area that would be interested in joining a new club?

The best club is not a club but just a group of people that get together and meet up when ever time allows
no meetings no dues no worries

hey we love the syndicate! With that said though there are times that require a more official club so you can participate in parades and other such activities

I might be up for it from Plumas Lake. Although, it will probably be short for me because I should be moving to Arizona by this time next year.
Currently, I am not in a club. There is nothing in my area and if the meeting are held in or near Roseville, I would like to participate. However, I am a member with the NCCC (National Council of Corvette Clubs).

My definition of an "ACTIVE" club is a Club that actually enjoys driving the Corvette on both day and weekend tours, to picnics, or any other activity that requires the driving of a Corvette as opposed to just meeting locally and just eat and drink. I mean drive somewhere more than a couple times a year. I remember when Clubs would have several activities throughout the good weather months. I understand it is hard to plan a driving event during the raining months.
It appears that most clubs are just wine & dine type of a club these days and don't want to drive anywhere. I believe that is because most of the Corvette owners are older and just don't want to drive anywhere anymore. That is one of the reason why I left a club because of the lack of driving activities. All they wanted to do were dash and dines and the dashes were nothing more than a drive that didn't exceed 5 miles from the usual meeting location. The rest of the time they just stayed local to where most of the members lived and had house and pot-luck parties.

Some venues and events require that a car club carry insurance. That is why many clubs in Northern California join WSCC. I believe their insurance carrier covers $2,000,000. The Cow Palace, being state owned, wanted $5,000,000 for autocross. That was too much.
