Do C6 owners need to worry about Python
Just saw a new Dodge Charger called SRT8 Python take off at a traffic light and it really moved. Does anyone have knowledge about this car? Will it compete with a base C6?

I'm not aware of any "Python" version of the SRT-8 Charger but the Standard versions have 425 hp and are pretty quick in a straight line. Still not base C6 quick though..."Compete"? Big weight difference, in fact, 2 completely different types of cars. The C6 would smoke it in the twisties.

I own both, a C6 Z51 and a Charger SRT8, the charger can move for a big car, I'll give it that, but from a dig, the vette, even stock , would kill it bad. From a roll, there's a little more competition until about 100MPH. As for the python, never heard of it, maybe just an owner or dealership mod or some special edition ala Hennesy or Mamba Viper or such. There is a Super Bee SRT8 and now there's more colors than ever, including SubLime and Plum Crazy, straight outta the 70's.
