It is not a C5, but...
It has a C5 Z06 cam, alternator, and driveshaft that I bought from members here!

I'm not quite done with it as yet, but it drives very nicely. One of these days I'll be able to afford that yellow C5 convertible!

A friend used to have the last gen RX-7. I think it was a turbo? It was really pretty quick and a fun car to drive. We used to call it the Mazdaratti.
