If they're nicely equipped they're nice.
The stripped down Malibus look very plain wrap and dated compaired to the Asian lines we felt.

We seriously checked them out, and the Pontiac Torrent which is really nice.
Wife is a serious USA brand car fan.

Our great luck with Toyota over the years, hell, over several decades, has us probably heading back and sticking with a weiner errr,,, ahh,, I mean winner.

Last Toyota went 415 K miles. Hard to argue with success.

The new ones are very nice, definately a huge improvement over the last body style.

If you are looking at a new one, I highly recommend also checking out the new Hyundai Sonata. The interior, suspension, and motors have been updated for 2009.

I found a graphite metalic, LTX with sun roof, rear power, and the new 4 cyl with 6 sp transmission for 25.5K...I think I am going to go with that

Sweet, sounds like a good deal. Put some pics up if you get it.

It is either that or the 2LT with the same color and only the power roof for 22.3K...anyone have one and can tell me if it is worth it for the LTZ?
