You might give a try in the OTHER CARS Section. You might have better luck finding other guyz with those cars.

If you are looking into those cars because of the all wheel drive, consider a certified used Audi S4; same price range (or less) than your cars new, more luxurious and solid, 340 hp V8, nice to drive daily. Just my 0.02; sorry I can't give more info re: Subie vs Evo but I did test drive a new WRX (previous generation) and found it to be a buzzy econobox with a more powerful engine. (guess what my second car is ...)

Robispec.com

He builds and sets up race versions of either car. He knows them inside out. His cars setup by him are usually 1,2 and 3 in the winners circle

I have driven both and you can not go wrong. I have had four Subys and track one a lot. They are great cars with no issues. The new EVO 10 is great and the interior is nice.

Check out Cobb tuning if you are going to mod it.

I also like the S4 suggestion or an A3.

If you are looking brand new and lean towards the Subu side, save the money and go with the regular WRX. No need for the extra expense of the STI.

The EVO is sharper and more fun to drive. On the other hand, the STi is more comfortable and has better interior quality than the EVO 10 if you care about that.

I like driver's cars like the 135, 335 and EVO 9 and even 10. I just didn't like the response out of the STi engine and the mushy tranny. It felt laggy and very sluggish. A CoBB and a Downpipe made it 10 times better, but you can do that in the EVO10 too and gain 60whp with just a flash let alone a Downpipe.

Personally I would go with the EVO 10. Currently I'm looking for one with a good price as a daily driver.

By the way, are you Mashour cousin?

Middle East market? Keep it in the family. CSV-CR8. I'm sure you don't NEED all wheel drive out there.

The STI is nowhere as fast and comes up way short in handling compared to any EVO. I know this because I have raced both with my 335i and it seems as if those two types of cars are always trying to race me. The EVO 10 for the price cannot be beat. However, I would suggest a 335i with all the bolt ons will make short work of both. My 335i is 430 rwhp with 422 rwtq and does 11.30 on drag radials and traps 118+. And as far as handling there is no all wheel drive that can hang in the twisties. A perfect chasis will beat AWD everytime. The EVO is a little cheaper price wise but is light years ahead of the Suburu.

STi anyday over the Evo. The STi comes with 6 sp. vs 5sp on the Evo, unless you're getting the Evo MR with the 6sp Dual Clutch. The STi has IMO, better interior and exterior. And I also like the hatchback configuration over the sedan.
