FS:1996 Impala SS ----MINT!!!!!!
For sale is a one of a kind 1996 Impala SS, this car was ordered
new by me in 1996, all options (except HD battery) and only has 950
miles on the odometer. I have all paperwork and inspection stickers in
case this is called into question. Car is black cherry in color and has
the LT1 350 motor. The car is as the day I picked it up. VIN # is
1G1BL52P3TR1643xx. Plastic is still on the carpet, all window stickers
are preserved, and I removed the plastic from the leather seats and orig mats are in the trunk. Car was always kept in a garage (not like those people that say "garage kept, 95,000 miles"!!!), this is a truly kept example of the last of the big cars. The Impala SS was made from 1994-96 and was discontinued in 96 in this large style. Has center console automatic shifter with overdrive, only year to have this (other years were column shift). Car is loaded, all power accessories, CD/FM stereo, engine heater, etc. Nothing has been replaced except the battery about 4 yrs ago.
I used to keep the car in a wood barn in a secluded area and found one day a BB sized ding in the rear passenger side door. I thought it was odd to get a dent because when I did drive the car I never parked it anywhere, always with it, during inspection, gas, etc. I investigated
the shed and found a hole in the wood side in the area of the ding, and
then I found a piece of metal laying on the floor, looked like a little
distorted turd. I showed it to my dad and he informed me that it was a
.22 slug. I checked the outside of the shed and found an entrance hole
at a 45 degree angle, it seemed the bullet hit at that angle and then
diverted straight in, hitting the car and creating a small ding. The
cover was on the car and the paint was not chipped, just a small ding,
which is very hard to see on this black cherry color. I tried to have
the dent pushed out at one of those paintless dent removal places, but
the ding occured at the front of the door where the metal is rolled,
thus not enabling the tool to get in to get it out. If it was 1/4 inch
more to the rear it could have been fixed. Like I said, it is not
noticeable and does not distract from the looks of this fine car. From
owning this car, all paint has remained unchanged, meaning no nicks over the 11 year span. Engine is clean and mint, surface rust on components and undercarriage from day one. Interior is leather, and gray in color. Car is capable of being driven away, unless you are like me and trailer
it away!!!!
Any questions please call 7173916733, Bruce.
I am trying to locate the pics of the car when received, showing
all locations of stickers, etc. I have a replacement windshield for the
car if you want it, it was gotten by the dealership when I found a
scratch from the factory in the windshield. I didn't want it installed
due to the fact I didn't want them screwing something else up. The mar in the windshield is VERY HARD to find and does not hamper or distract from driving this car. Write me for pics if you need them.

Drifting
I drove a couple of these and they are terrific vehicles. Our garage is full and you're too far away or I'd be on this. These cars get very good MPG, offer great handling and are a classic design. It's a high performance cop car with comfort features and very cool styling. That dark cherry is my favorite of the three colors offered and the '96 is the best of that bunch.
Best of luck on the sale of a true collectable.
