Default new Gen Tahoe reliability?

Any comments on the reliability of the new Tahoe (2007 & up)?

I was thinking of buying a used one (with 5.3L and 3.73's) very soon but was wondering what opinions were on reliability etc.

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks!

Our DD 07 Suburban LTZ is getting ready to turn 70K with no issues so far. It's a 4WD 1500 with 5.3 that gets a free dealer oil change every 5K miles. Got 60K from the first set of tires (20"). Alighnment was still within spec but still got charged to adjust a tenth of a degree. One recall for the heated washer system harness in the console. Gets 17-18 mpg for our daily commute of 80 miles round trip mostly highway. Tahoe should be a tad better as it is a little lighter.

Didn't need a Burb, but the last 2 Tahoes we had (01 & 04) had a tendency to dart around a lot in very low winds. Therefore we decided to go with the longer wheel base and absolutely love it.

We have 2 2009 Tahoes at work. Both have had warranty work on their door locks, and one has a problem with its transmission that the dealer is still trying to resolve. Aside from that, they are comfortable, powerful, and popular as a result.

My personal 2009 Yukon has only had one problem so far; the actuator for the power lumbar quit after we had left the dealership about 15 minutes. The part was replaced under warranty, and no problems since. Of course, it only has 3500 km on it, so time will tell.

Great trucks, we are very fond of ours.

We just sold our 2007 Yukon ..after having zero issues ..
We have had great luck with Tahoes and Blazers , seven since 1986, but our family is gone now so she bought a Caddy SRX...

Wife has an 07 Tahoe LTZ, loves it. The only issues were the recall on the heated washer and the chrome coming off the door lever on the driver and passenger interior doors. Dealer took care of all of it under warranty. Oh, also one tire pressure sensor had to be replaced.

It's a great road trip car
