I've hung out on this forum for non V Cadillac info, but I can't really tell if it's anywhere as good as CF.

This is the most popular one. Same site listed above, just the "V" section. The link below is for the new V's, they also have a section for the older ones.

I was (and guess still is) a member there. I had a 2005 V at one time. I found that forum to be very good. Caddy's resale value will keep me from buying from them again though.

Maybe the hot ticket would be buying a used one! I do love the V! It isn't a Vette, but it is as close as you can get with 4 doors!

I agree that it is a nice car and the price has not gone up as fast as the C6. My 05 was pretty much loaded and it had a sticker of $52k. I can't remember exactly what I paid for it. About 6 months later I start having a left hip problem from a work accident. Six months after that I traded it in for I think $33k. It was either that or take stronger pain meds so it was an easy decision. I actually saw the car about 8 months later with a $32k sticker. I think I paid about $48k for it so about 20 months later a dealer couldn't sell it for more than $32k.

Watch the early model 1st gen Vs because they had severe issues with wheel hop/axle howl and broken half shafts. Tire wear was pitiful. Caddy even recommended rotating them every 3k for max wear which was 14k for me.
