What vehicle should replace the Crown Victoria PI?
I would be interested to hear from LEO's for their opinion on what should be a good replacement for the Outgoing Ford Crown Victoria PI? I think the New Chevy Caprice will Dominate the Market just as the 1996 model Did. That Model has a strong V-8 engine, 355hp and is rear wheel Drive. The Ford taurus, is an attractive car, but only comes with awd, or front wheel drive. The Charger is the best looking Police vehicle, but is lacking in size. Just my 2 cents. What do you think?

The Hemi Charger is a worthy steed with a very stout powertrain, although they look funny in base trim with tall/narrow wagon wheel tires.

My agency is trying to buy every damn crown vic left. They are too cheap to upgrade to a new ride. However, they tend to mimic what LAPD does so its probably safe to say we will be getting the caprices.
