2010 Viper ACR.... No longer a production car. Chevy should make a few ZR-1.Rs with a GT wing for the street and take them to the Ring. The Viper ACR-X did a 7.03 (it isn't street legal) so what would a ALMS GT C6 turn.... Also, the article mentioned no video or other proof - just their word - A la Porsche..... (I guess the video is now official)

Believe it or not, Vettes and Toyotas can live in harmony.
Of GM's two trucks, I don't particularly care for the Colorado/Canyon, and the Silverado/Sierra is just too big for my needs (and too big to fit in garage)...so a Toyota can fill a need quite nicely.

Lol...that's really scraping the bottom of the barrel for sour grapes.
Totally relevant.

When the frames rust out and snap in two on Toyota trucks, it's no big deal.

The question is what is a real production car.
The Nurburgring it's becoming an obsession to sports cars manufacturers but what really bothers me is how likely they are to call their cars "production cars", from the top ten or twenty in the list of the fastest productions cars in the Nurburgring I can tell you probably Corvette is the one of the very few real production car. I'm not talking only about the Viper ACR.
They r abusing the term, so you make...how many of those a year??...like 3 or 2 and you have to know somebody in Hollywood to get one, wait for years, and then you need to hook up your car to an special modem (like the Mc Laren F1) so they can troubleshoot it and send you a technician from England, etc.
And then you have all these small companies they get the tranny from one car and then the engine from another one they put it in a go kart with a windshield and there you go! just take it to the Nurburgring and hopefully Top Gear will review the car...whatever!!!
The Viper was an awsome car, I hope Chrysler brings it back but ACR what is ACR? Maybe I should come up with my own version of the Zr1, the EdZr1 with a big aero break / wing, a dual clutch from the Ferrari 458, the tires from the Bugatti Veyron and take it to the Nurburgring too.
