New Shelby 89K!
I stopped by the local Ford dealer to look at a Raptor. They had a new Shelby on the floor with a 20k markup for a grand total of 89k! 69k for a mustang is quite a bit, but 89k

Guy I know has a 2007 GT500, bought new, and rarely driven. He had the first one in this part of Canada. When he got it, some guy offered him $20K more than he paid. He turned him down. Now, they are easily purchased, and he wishes he'd taken the money.
Wait a little while, until the "its the latest, bestest, greatest thing ever" hysteria dies down. Then buy it for MSRP or less.
No Mustang is worth $69K, let alone $89K IMO.
The 20K "price adjustment" reminds me of the 15K "market adjustment" sticker on the 2004 GTO I was looking at back then. And look how that worked out for greedy dealerships.
Or, you could let the moneybags crowd buy them up, and then buy it from them lightly used (never driven in rain) for about 50% of what they paid.

Remember the Ford GT......
50K + easy over MSRP.

They just might get their asking price, but their glory will be short-lived when compared to the amount of people who will write that dealership off for being such a glutton.

89k for bragging rights! I've got more horsepower than you...I'm just slower than a cabover Peterbuilt since I can't plant it. Oh and it handles like a tuna boat in high seas!
