Help with other car.
Ok the vett is running good with the new cooling system but I need help with another car that is a bit odd.
Put it on the dyno last weekend and discovered that it was starving for gas. We are planning upgrading the fuel pump on the motor side, have a great carb, Holly 1000+ on top but would like recommendations for heads.
Details:
502 - boarded and 1/4 inch stroke to 540 ci
Holly 1000+ eliminator carb
4L80E transmission ( custom built with trans brake)
3500 stall converter
9 in rear end 4.88 Detroit locker
Cam not sure need recommendations if you think appropriate.
Goal -- 10.75 qtr. 6.8 1/8
best run 1/4 11.4 qtr bad conditions Hot and slick
best run 1/8 7.04/99.2 ok conditions
What do you all think.
Yes we are shooting 400 NOS.
