The supercharged V8 sounds very exotic when pressed. Overall, the car was very solid and I loved the interior. Decently quick, but obviously not as quick as my C6 Z06 or CTS-V coupe was. The F-type is on my short list of potential new cars. It is just gorgeous in person and I swear everybody just about broke their necks looking at it. If the sticker was in the $80K range.....I would have purchased it on the spot. Only a few nitpicky things I saw. Brake calipers....should be at least Brembos. Weren't impressive for a 100K car. Very small trunk.

I drove one at my local dealer, last week, a supercharged V-8 model also. It's a very nice, solid, good handling, luxurious sports car. However, I'm 6'2" tall, and while the passenger compartment isn't tight, it isn't as roomy as my C-5 coupe. I also found the windshield header to be a bit intrusive to upward vision at stoplights. But, it was a HOOT to drive...the exhaust note is wild, especially at full song....

Between the Porsche 911s and the v8 jaguar f type... I prefer the 911s.
Between the Boxster S and f type....Boxster S is my preference.
The jaguar is nice and I admire it. I just don't lust after one.

Lovely car, but I just see beyond the price tag. They really are asking too much for it.

Have a F type SVR... awd and convertible. 575 hp. Best sounding stock exhaust (it's titanium) I have heard. It pops and backfires and sounds amazing

After looking at both V8 and V6 S models, I ended up going with a V6S as I was a bit concerned about 575HP and the F/R balance in everyday driving. For my uses, 380HP is plenty (my most powerful prior car was my 350HP C5), and it still has that wonderful exhaust note (just in V6 form) with overruns, pops & crackles.
