Default I need to know what the CF thoughts are on this C6 (based car)

I have the opportunity to get this car at a pretty good deal. Wanted to know what you guy think about it. This car was built by West Coast Customs for Gary Dourdan of CSI. It is my understanding he paid 280k for it but that is idiot money and not even near what I am getting it for.

I know this is subjective, but ANY have a clue what something like this would go for?

Pretty wild looking, do not have a clue what something like that would go for. I guess it is more of a case of what someone is willing to pay for it.
Any more details on it like what is under the hood, hp to the wheels, etc.

I like the car but I don't like the exterior color nor the interior color combination. Either way a C6 body is more appealing to me! 31 Flavors.

Full 2006 frame up i.e. brakes/motor/suspension etc. As far as performance goes, I assume it is stock.

Tough call, it is one of a kind, awesome looking, but as far as purchase price I have no clue.

It looks ridiculous. Looks like a '60s Chevelle gone bad.

As far as quality of workmanship goes ... the chrome trim on the passenger's side of the trim does't line up.

its a one off car that surely cost a fortune to build. valuation is going to be only what one is willing to pay for it. Many wont like it, some will thoroughly enjoy it. To me, the sum of the parts is probably worth used midyear C6 Zo6 money- ish. I wouldn't mind having it for say 40k.

Love it! Looks like it is a 1967 to me. One of my best friends growing up had a 1966 327 4 speed. I am guessing 75 to 100 K territory.

I am a HUGE fan of the Chevelle series, especially '68 and '69. This appears to be a knock off of a '66 or 67- - I like the body work, the color, and the fact there's a corvette hiding in there somewhere.

That said, fit is not good. May be the angle of the photo, but the grill looks misaligned, and as someone else said, the hood isn't lined up properly either. Imperfections like that make me crazy, so they would have to be fixed permanently before I would even consider.

I don't think the hood is closed tightly. Maybe it needs an extra push.

The car looks good and very unique, but it is not for me.

HUH? Although C6 based,it's not a c6. Ask the question in "other cars" part of the forum and see if you get a decent response. The hood is off, the grill and bumper look whacky..I mean, were the high when the built this thing?

Agreed, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Personally, I wouldn't pay as much as it would cost to buy the Corvette its based on.

I wouldn't pay more than $20k. I suspect the market for people who will pay big money for a bastardization of a car is very small, so be prepared to get reamed hard whenever you try to sell it.

It's obviously one of a kind but it also will take one of a kind to want it.

I don't see a Chevelle. I see a Buick Rivera.

I see Riviera as well, with 1970 Monte Carlo rear fenders. I'm sure a lot of work went into it, but I don't think they pulled it off all that well. The rear fender bulges tale away from the Chevelles normally clean lines, the side mirrors look cheap in the photos.

There is truly an a** for every seat. Mine definitely is not for this one. Parts of it look very cobbled together, namely the interior. The faux beadlock wheels are very odd. The rear looks decent, the front end looks like something from the malaise period of automotive design. To me, someone ruined a perfectly good corvette. Just my two cents.
