Whining noise in 1st gear help

Default Whining noise in 1st gear help
In my 06 Silverado W/T 4.3 there is a low whining noise in 1st gear when i get up to 1700rpm+. It does not happen when the truck is in park. It has 110,000 miles and it does not shift hard one bit. (knock on wood). Transmission fluid color is good and is not low.
If anyone has any advice please let me know.

Leave the truck in Park or start out in second gear
