Default Got my GT4

I picked it up about 2 months ago. It's been amazing so far and I did a track day two weeks ago at TWS and have one at COTA this coming weekend. It's everything I hoped it would be when I ordered earlier this year.

It has great turn-in, strong brakes, great handling, and the engine sounds great and pulls nicely above 5,000rpm or so. I got the alignment adjusted, the front aero things and wing done, and the sway bars adjusted to dial out any understeer that is present from the factory. I don't plan on doing much more besides driving and enjoying the car.

Here's a few pics and a quick video from TWS this past weekend:

I got a 1:55.9 at TWS CCW last weekend on my second session ever. I think there is another second or two in it.

COTA was just cancelled for Sunday. Just got an email. Something about major flooding and the facility not going to be ready by Sunday. Bummed as I'm already down here. Oh well.....

Thanks for the kind words guys. I do love the car. That said, I still have my Vette.

Congrats that's a really cool ride. I drove a normal Cayman S on a track and thought it was fantastic. That thing must be a blast.

Look's sweet! I would have considered one if it had a bit more power.

Thanks guys! I just did a 750 mile weekend trip around Texas with the GT4 and I love the car more than ever now. It's just an outstanding road and track car. I drove my ZR1 to work today and I still love that car too, but there is a world of difference in the feel and suspension set-up/compliance/tuning between the cars. Of course, steering, fit/finish, and a hundred of other things are different too. Both great in their own way, but the GT4 definitely seems better put together.

That said, long live the LS9. Sheesh, that engine pulls......

Best color right now.......except maybe the Viper Green GT3 colors.

Nice car, will hold value well and must be like a precision scalpel on the track !

Enjoy !

The Cayman has finally gotten away from its Gayman calling . New ones and especially the GT4 are nice, far far better then the original.
