For the guys that get snow. What do you drive in it?

I just got a Cruze since the CPD seized my Taurus. I like the Cruze a lot more, great mpg's and a lot of fun buttons inside. Since I got it I haven't driven my C6 and that was back in August. The Cruze really rides nice and the seats a firm. Hopefully it'll be good in the snow. I commute 45 miles each way to work.

I just daily my corvette z51 m6 with Npp about 12k miles a year.
I don't give a crap about slightly less resale value. The corvette is a blast to use everyday...and I have a set of pirrelli snow tires on another set of comp grey rims ready to go anywhere and anytime.

Or, you can just retire and not worry about driving in the snow everyday. I have four cars and non of them have ever had snow tires installed. For about ten years after I retired, I wrote magazine articles, co-authored a book, built masters for a couple of companies that manufactured model railroad rolling stock kits, did some consulting, etc. Just stuff I could do at home, while watching it snow, and I was warm in my home while watching it snow. I never worry about having to push my home out of a snow bank.
I enjoy it when a snow arrives overnight, and I get up in the morning, open my blinds, get a cup of coffee, and sit own and enjoy the view of everything covered in beautiful snow.
When I see a weather forecast for increment weather, I run to Walmart and stock up on groceries. Then I sit back and watch reruns of Gunsmoke and Wagon Train while watching it snow outside. I don't care how deep it gets.

Currently a Focus ST, previously a GTO and before that a Grand Cherokee.
Next up is a pick-up, but not for 2-3 years. Thought about a Fusion Sport but lack of ground clearance sucks in the neighborhood and really beats up a car.

I wish we could have talked earlier on backup winter choice . I delivered a grand Cherokee to San Diego from Boston . I got out and slit my throat in Albuquerque with a dull box cutter .
