Default Took my LT4 on a road trip

ok...not quite a Corvette, but it has the spirit.
My Wife and I just got back from a 2 week road trip from Tx to Ca and back in our 2 month old 2016 CTS_V
The total trip was 5156 Miles and averaged 21 MPG total, didn't notice too much on the way out, but When we got into Ft Stockton Tx, we had averaged 24.8 mpg from Tuson, doing 80-90 mph most of the way. Not nearly as good as my 08 Z06 at 27.5 mpg average, but way better than my CTS-V Wagon.
We went through: San Diego, LA, Big Sur, SF, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Mammoth, Vegas and nearly everywhere in between.
Here are the pics.

Recap

The Trip was an anniversary of sorts, we visited many of the same place 5 years ago when we got married in Tahoe, We took my 08 Z06 that time.

That V is a beast. Tons of power and handles like its on rails. A real pleasure to drive. Looks like a great trip.

Its a bike rack, Cycling is my other passion.

Thanks everyone, it was a blast, A few times I wish I had a vette, but the extra room makes long trips that much better.
