How many pages is this going to be hahaha!!, imo corvette still is the better looking car, keeping out the typical" hellcat can't corner excuse made by people who would get beat by a skilled driver in a Honda Civic on a track ' the non lt4 vetted don't stand a chance , the z06 should have been used for this comparison.
I also didn't know that there was a wide body hellcat, which kind of crappy, you will see the demon badges put on hellcats, I think that sucks.
That article is nothing more than an opinion just like 99% of the posts made on Corvette Forum. I think both cars are amazing but that is just my opinion.
on that I've got to like the C7 but will never really like the back end, and it has nothing to do with the non round tail lights , I don't lie those black plastic pieces , nor the two piece bumper... looks cheap, the rest of the car is great, the spats don't bother me as much, but I'm seeing that the ZR1 will not have them, which is a good thing.
After owning a few corvettes and Camaros over the years I decided to get an RT Scat Pack Challenger. When I was looking back in 2015 Hellcats were too hard to come by and Dodge basically stopped taking orders to get caught up.
I loved the C5 and C6 Widebody.. the C7 Widebody looks ok I guess. IMO the Challenger is a great looking car... and even my lowly 485HP Scat Pack moves out well for what it is. yes they are heavy DUH.
Hopefully GM will come out with a decent looking C8...as the C7 base car is a Ferrari wannabe .. from a couple angles it looks decent but over all its ugly.. this is one of the reasons I also got the Challenger vs a C7.
I would buy a challenger over a c7. It's better looking, more spacious, I trust it more, and it might not be as much of a road course car, but for the street it still handles great.
I too like the looks of the Challenger / Hellcat. Also, although I have not driven one, they sure are darn comfy to sit in. I'd love having all that HP on tap in the Hellcat.
The wide body hellcat is the right choice for a mopar man...
For real track performance beyond just a drag strip I look forward to the wide body hellcat do some lap times...those wider tires and wheels should begin to make the hellcat competitive on a road course ...
Should be tested in the magazines soon so we will know one way or the other...
Otherwise the camaro ZL1 for the 2 plus 2 sport coupe for the win...
I hear the mustang is upping the ante as well although I'm not a Ford guy so not sure just what's in store..
Comparing the corvette to the hellcats a joke except for some strightline pulls,
If that's all your into....then the hellcat if it can hook is pretty cool although a tesla model S ludicrious smokes the hellcats ..

awesoem street car, never had a Mopar...would love a challenger
