Default New Silverado

We didn't get the ME Vette at the Detroit auto show (sort of glad because it makes my '17 last longer as a new model) but we got the new Silverado. https://www.autoblog.com/2018/01/13/...d-and-all-new/. I have to say it looks pretty nice, and I like what they did with the hybrid construction of the body (aluminum doors/hood/gate, steel bed and frame). They also apparently performed more durability testing than on any other GM model in history.

Nice looking truck; however, the frontend looks just a little too busy.

I got a new 17 2500 Duramax about 4 months before my new Grand Sport. Great trucks! I like your front with the LEDs better than mine but I needed extra tow capacity. I'm surprised the infotainment systems in the truck and the C7 are so similar but I like them both.

OP, it's an evolution on the outside and even less on the inside from my '16 GMC.. not overly impressed. I get it though have to send a new one out every 4 years lol... just such a jump from the last gen to this one, guess i got spoiled!

I think it's a pretty big jump. What I would want in a truck is exactly what they gave - tough but clean styling and more reliability and economy.

Looking forward to hearing output numbers on that diesel? Would also love to see the diesel make it into the full size SUV lineup!!

Too little, too late. Still not up to the standard the 2015 f150 set, and the new ram has totally blown the Silverado out of the water.

Once again, GM is chasing the competition by throwing cost at the problem. I's sure it will still sell, 30% off MSRP never hurts.
