Default J code Ford 302

I have an early 68 Ford j code 302 engine that I took out of an old 68 Torino I just sold. This engine is not the original motor but when I bought the car years ago was told that it was out of a mustang GT. It is a complete running engine that has never been rebuilt although I do not know it's true milage. It has the original 4 bbl intake manifold and an older Holley on it and not the correct motorcraft unit. I have it currently sitting on my engine run stand and I'm waiting for the spring to work on getting it running as it has not been run an a number of years. I will post up some pictures shortly. My question to you all is, how much could this healthy original running engine be worth? I know I should post on the mustang forums but I would rather give my Corvette brothers and sisters the first dibs. Thanks Rich

It's worth maybe $500 to someone who wants a date code correct engine. The carburetor and smog stuff are the hard to find parts.
