Default Any mustang experience on here?

Hi guys, spend most of my time on the c3 section but needing help with another car. I recently purchased another toy it’s a 70 Thunderbird, not a vette I know but considering my late father passed some tbird disease on to me (over 40 between us) I hope you can give me a pass. Anyhow here’s the dilemma, shipping company had quite a few issues getting it here ruining the tranny and breaking the door glass(horror story for another time) I have replaced the glass, there were 7 in the country, ugh. And now replacing the seals and that’s where the mustang connection comes in. The 1/4 glass seals are a part # for a 71-73 mustang fastback. I ordered a set from a t bird place and the right side is perfect and the left is not. I believe it is mis packaged and quite possibly for a convertible but I can’t seem to get this thru the customer service persons head. They have sent 2 sets exactly same issue as they don’t seem to be able to follow that if they are a pair they should be the same lt to rt, you would think since the rt side fits in the box and the lt they have to bend the end of would explain but alas not to them. I’ve reached out to various mustang parts suppliers and get no answers so I’ve come to the conclusion that we as corvette owners are very lucky to have some places with excellent customer service. If any of you guys dabble in the mustang world and know of a good forum or site it would be greatly appreciated. Here is a picture of the albatross and the seal mounts on the 1/4 glass leading edge. Sorry for the long post and thanks for any and all help

I liked the 70's T Bird. T birds up till the 70's were neat then they turned to crap till they came out with the 2 seat retro look ones.

I've owned 3 Mustangs. A 1965 2+2 fastback K body but had a 351 Cleveland HO/top loader 4 speed and I put a 1 piece fiberglass front end on and a Hurst RAM 4 shifter in it and changed out the interior added CRAGAR SS mags. Also had a 1965 Mustang GT Fastback V8 with 3 speed manual. Last I had a 1969 BOSS 302 that I restored (should have kept that one). It was stock except 12:1 pistons. Nothing like the sound of a high compression solid lifter engine. When I did the body work/paint, I needed a new trim piece for the front of the hood. I had to order 3 or 4 from FORD to get a good one. From the peak of the nose, the one side was maybe 1/4 to 1/2 longer than the other side.....a FORD part froma FORD dealer. I couldn't believe that.
