belongs to my stepson, drives along ok, then engine dies suddenly outside lights stay on, dash does out almost completely......battery is new, connections good, anyone with any similar experience on this generation of F150 pickups?? thanks, need to fix this damn thing, NOT happy with it....

I'm not a mechanic and I've never owned a Ford but I see 48 people have viewed this thread and no one has replied. So here goes. I'd suggest jacking it up and sliding a Chevy under it. Problem solved. Good luck. LOL
