Review: Had an AMG S63 Coupe for the day
I convinced the dealership to loan me an AMG 63 Coupe (MSRP $190,000.00) for the day because I used to have a previous generation, didn't like it, and had some serious buyer's remorse over it. So this time I wanted to spend a day with the car, and they graciously agreed, so I put on a blazer and my good shoes and headed on down. Ran all my errands, picked the kids up from school, parked it in the garage overnight, etc.
Here are a few pics after I got it home... as you can see this is a CPO car without the Pan-americana grill, and I wasn't sure, but I think I like it better, esp. once I thought of it as aviation-themed:
Overall, best car I've ever driven.
It feels FASTER than the Z06 but that's just because, with 4Matic, it always hooks. It pulls like a freight train. It's not as scary as my Tesla P100D of course, but it's the closest gasoline powertrain I've experienced. Also the best and fastest gasoline powertrain. Now if you can get your Z to hook on drag radials, it'll be quicker. But this is just so much -easier- to manage for daily driving that it feels quicker.
In Sport mode the car has a better note but is way too quiet.
My biggest problem, even though I'm only 6'2", is that I'm too tall for the car. I can't see the gauges for the steering wheel, I look into the visor a bit, and the HUD is clipped for me.
Spectacular interior, likely the best mass production interior out there.
In my Rover I have the optional Harmon Kardon audio, which is the best I'd heard. Until now - the Burmeister 3D $6500 optional system truly is great.
All in all, highly impressed. I came away not wanting this particular car because I want the 2018 COMAND system, and this didn't have it, and night vision. But other than the seating position, which I'm still conflicted about, I liked the car a great deal!

Drifting
Let me ask you this... How is the car to get into/out of? I ask because as another 6'2 individual; I find that alot of the modern German sedans have an issue that by the time I get the seat to be far enough away from the pedals and the steering wheel close enough to me to be comfortable, I have to act like a contortionist to slide into/out of the car. My 2018 Audi is this way and the BMW was similar. The corvette with it's deep foot well is actually easier to get in to and out of than the Audi. It is really bad when I am holding something in my hand (like a cup of coffee and/or a small bag) because I am afraid I am going to bump my hip on the steering wheel and risk spilling my coffee.

Take that hunk of crap back and see if they'll let you take this home for a day.

My favorite part was how, in his now deleted exit thread, he tried to claim that there was no finding of wrongdoing after he plead guilty to 4 different criminal charges. I don't think Scareware Dave quite understands cause and effect relationships.

A CamEro is more aggressive looking.
Think of all the day spa visits and blow you can have with the substantial savings.
You can even get panties to drop when cruising through the Trailer Park for few rocks to smoke in CamEro.
Drop it off and head to the Cheby Stealer, pArtY oN
