Default BF Goodrich Radial TA or Firestone Firehawk Indy 500

Size is 275 60 15, both brands have raised white letters.

Going on 1965 Chevy shortbed pickup to replace the same size Goodyear tires that are way past expiration date.

Read lots of complaints on the BF Goodrich white letters turn brown, and cleaning doesn’t fix, not really a problem since this pickup has very faded out paint.

Can get the BF Goodrich at Costco for $192.00 each after instant rebate when buying 4 tires, looks like they mount and balance tires for $20.00 per wheel, and you get 5 years of protection included free that will replace/or pro rate tire that gets damaged and can’t be patched.

The Firestone tires are at Walmart for $146.00 each, install and balance is $17.00 each tire, $10.00 more each wheel for tire replacement plan.

Either way I’m pulling wheels and bringing to whoever since they are dry rotted.

Have looked at Discount tire, Firestone places don’t sell 275 60 15, Tire rack prices were higher.

Anyone have any other ideas where to buy to get better prices?

I happen to like the BFG's, I think you will be OK with either.

I just got 2 BFG 225/70/15's from Amazon forr $158 each.

I'd put the Firestones on it and call it a day. A $20 to the tech at Walmart probably gets you two spins on the balancer vs a 1 and done job...
