I have always thought the Viper would come back, but not as it was. That said, I can't i.agine it coming back right now. Stallantis is in rough shape, like they'll be lucky to survive the next few years. There's no way Tavares OKd a Viper, he hated America and everything American. So it'd be a brand new program, and I can't believe their finances are in order enough to float a program like that right now.

Interesting. They should only have hybrid and full gas. I don't know why they have to take the plunge and go full electric. I guess enthusiast cars are doomed for the most part unless otherwise proven in the foreseeable future. If they're going to be available, the engines may be downsized and some of the specialty vehicles will be helluva expensive if they are not already.

All cars are getting a little ridiculous if you ask me. The regular C8 is still a great value but overall car values are getting a bit out there. I like the 911 GT3 - at $225k MSRP I’d probably buy one. But good luck getting on there, same thing with GT4 etc..
Mustangs up to 60-65k. Supra and RS3 at 60-70k. God help yu if you want a manual. Just a weird spot at the moment and I’m sure about to get worse.
I’ve got my 18 m7 zo6 I’m never giving up but struggling with the car to put next ot it at the moment.

You're right and I think I'm going to have to find a new hobby and give up these cars. I think I'll start signing up to play bingo with old people...

Not willing to go that far yet. BUt it does give me pause - i can buy a new c8 zo6 and have roughly an $800 month payment or i can take a 15 year mortgage out and have another investment property that will pay me $800 for 15 years and far more thereafter. I love cars but when I look at the picture like that…. And I cna’t drive both at the same time
I will not finance another car unless 0% interest.
C8 is a great value but ugh, I don't like them. I want to. I REALLY want to
I just don't and can't make myself.
Ehh but even there I get into a scenario where why not spend the capital towards a rental that nets me profit and finance the car. I can’t bring myself to do cash on a car either, especially over $100k.
As to value the c8 is just an incredibly value both the stingray and z06. Mustang is now basically stingray costs. Porsche has gotten beyond ridiculous. And frankly if you look at manuals not much out there to compete other than maybe an m2 consideration.
I love cars but the market has gotten very weird especially if you value manuals. And if not going manual not sure how I don’t end up in a z06
