I think I have finally made my decision on headers and exhaust after talking to Dan at Corvettes of Auburn.I want to do dynatechs with corsa indy pace with tiger shark tips.My question is is there any one with that setup close to where I live that maybe I could come over and hear your setup before taking the plunge.I live in Puyallup,WA.Doug

It will sound great don't worry I have Kooks racing headers with Xpipe and no cats with the tigershark exhuast and it looks mean as hell and sounds even better. I'll try and take a video tonight or tomorrow and post it for you.
uh lets see um 1695.00 for dynatech,1099.00 or around there for exhaust,285 or 295 for gelcoat,I think it was some where in around close to 4,000.When I'm ready I will get a closer estimate but we were just throwing figures around because I was asking about a cam also and with that it was like I think 6,000.

Ive seen the corsa exhaust on other vettes it looks just sick.I used to work on sprint cars so the tiger shark tips remind me of the old hilborn injection tubes.
If your going to do a cam as well I'd talk with Tom Wong in Vancouver WA. He is top notch, a great guy, and knows the Vettes inside and out like few others. $6,000 seems pretty high for all of that to get done. Parts shouldn't be more than $3,500 or close to that...$2,500 in labor is a bit high
There are step by step instructions with photos that show you how to do headers and exhaust. There's even cam instructions but I would stick with a shop for that. Headers and exhaust all together would be about 5 hrs or close to that.
Doug, what are they charging you for your set up installed?
George's Custom Exhaust Performance in Sandy Oregon is excellent for that work. He knows these matters well. I have a 100% complete custom, 3" exhaust system, matched to Flowmaster 40's for around 1200.
He's a Vette guy with the right mind & lift (see thread about inadequate mechanics lift equipment).

Hey, would you please post (or PM me) Tom's business name, and contact info--phone #, website, etc? It'd be great to hook up with a shop that close to home.
He's the best all around Vette Mechanic on the West Coast IMO and many many others think so to He has all the equipment needed to work on Vettes and tune them too
